Portrait Hour

I love abstraction, but I a feel obliged to begin my studies with representational work. While landscape and still lives have their beauty, faces are where its at! I love people. Capturing the expression of a loved one is the ultimate challenge.

I have been blessed to happen upon a few great teachers, Leslie Graff at the Danforth, and now Catherine Kehoe at Mass College of Art. Some of my favorite pieces so far are of those closest to me.
