This has been a long and crazy year. My twin first graders just turned seven and school has ended for the year. In fact, this marks day one of summer vacation. Thank goodness Lily is here!
It has also been a year of reflection. After three years freelance writing, I am beginning to wonder what's next. I am craving more time to paint and do projects, and I am wondering about the next professional project. I am starting to imagine a path that helps kids with critical communication skills. In the meantime, I thought I would share some more work from my class this spring at the Danforth Museum with Ruth Scotch. She is lovely and inspiring, helping with palette, color mixing, composition. I call it my "skill building" period.
